Conversations Book Club's Review of Cinderella's Magical Wheelchair: An Empowering Fairy Tale
There is nothing like having a fresh take on a story that you feel as though you know so well. That is exactly what Jewel Kats has done with her book CINDERELLA'S MAGICAL WHEELCHAIR. We are presented with a Cinderella that is not only dealing with special needs but unappreciated for what she has to offer.
When an opportunity arises to meet a Prince, Cinderella is tricked into thinking that she will be able to attend the costume party being held by the royal family, but that is not to be. Magically a special helper comes to help Cinderella not only make it to the party but see something special about herself as well.
The ending is not what you might expect but it shows you that we all have the power to do amazing things in our lives regardless of the challenges we face.
Jewel Kats has definitely given readers a special Cinderella that is easy to relate to and teaches us the importance of believing in ourselves. You can't ask for any more than that.
